Ghana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with China’s Sino-Hydro for the construction of the Bui dam hydro project in the Brong Ahafo Region. Details of the contract for the project are being finalised although US$1.5M is being spent on an environmental impact assessment for the project, which was first proposed in the 1970s.
